Everton midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson has made a hilarious revelation about his goal in their 4-0 win against Manchester United on Sunday.
Everton thumped Manchester United 4-0 at Goodison Park in their Premier League clash yesterday.
Richarlison put the home side ahead after 13 minutes and Sigurdsson doubled their lead 15 minutes later.
Sigurdsson beat United goalkeeper David De Gea in the bottom-left corner.
And the Icelandic star made a hilarious revelation to Stadium Astro.
Asked by pundit David Kitson if he was surprised to get so much space against United, the Everton star replied, “I actually can’t remember what was going on.
“I remember getting the ball against [Nemanja] Matic.
“It was on the counter-attack as they were going forward.
“As soon as I went inside, there weren’t too many options.
“So, I saw the goal and it was nice to put it in.”
